【Exhibition Start Announcement】
On June 1st, the搬入(delivery and setup) for "Samurai Typography" was successfully completed at the Hakone-Gora Onsen ryokan "Mizu no Kaori," and the exhibition officially began.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Hitomi Wako, who introduced this exhibition, and Mizuno Owada, who provided this opportunity.
With advice from Ms. Wako, who helped with the setup from morning, we started the exhibition installation from the lobby.
It took some effort to hang the canvas panels straight while on a stepladder, but I'm really glad we put them up first.

In the lobby, we prominently displayed "Odawara Castle," which is also a neighboring town of Hakone, and by arranging T-shirts together, we aimed for a rhythm that wasn't monotonous.
In the previous space, we displayed hanger racks and mannequin displays, creating a layout that anticipated the sale of items related to the works. This also went well thanks to Ms. Wako's advice.
For the guest rooms, we discussed the artworks to match the name, wall color, and atmosphere of each room.

As this is a place with many international visitors, all explanations are provided in both Japanese and English.
Even today, on my way home, walking through Hakone, about 70-80% of the tourists were international visitors.
I hope this exhibition will leave a lasting impression on the eyes and hearts of such visitors.
