Following the Ueno Samurai Festival two weeks ago, I participated in the "Nippon Castle Festival 2024" in Nagoya.

Once again, I borrowed a corner of Sengokudama's booth and quietly accomplished three missions.

The first was to serve customers as a sales assistant.
When I told people looking at T-shirts, "Actually, I'm the designer," they were often surprised and listened to what I had to say. I hoped this would be an opportunity for them to become interested in Yoshikuni, so I spoke with them.

The second was selling Nagoya Castle T-shirts, as well as Okazaki Castle and Inuyama Castle T-shirts, at the official event booth.
Chris Glenn, who collaborated on the Nagoya Castle T-shirt, and the Okazaki Castle Warrior Team also helped with promotions for this.

Immediately after the event, there was news about the felling of the pine tree at Okazaki Castle. It was shocking news as it was a characteristic motif.

The third was promoting the crowdfunding campaign, "The Story of a Hero Beyond Time Woven by Gunma's Artisans – I want to commercialize the Sanada Yukimura Tote Bag!", to raise awareness.
We displayed leather tote bags and embroidered long-sleeved T-shirts prominently, and distributed flyers, which garnered a lot of interest from many people.

The "Nippon Castle Festival 2024" had a surprisingly large number of visitors, and I got the impression it was a great event with a lot of enthusiasm.
I was also surprised by the large number of children dressed as warriors and in traditional Japanese attire. Perhaps it's because this is the hometown of the three great warlords.
I was able to talk with event staff, warrior teams from various regions, and followers on social media, so it was a meaningful trip to Nagoya for me.
