Why this T-shirt was created
Co-created by Chris Glenn, a radio DJ who loves castles,
and Yoshikuni Inoue, a designer.
An English native's perspective, deep historical knowledge,
and design-driven reconstruction.
These three elements converged to form a single expression.
The two people who gave this expression form
This single piece was born from two perspectives.
A perspective that deeply understands history, and
a design perspective that gives it form.
Different approaches overlap,
culminating in a single expression.

Chris Glenn x Yoshikuni Inoue Interview: "Reading Castles"
The idea of taking home an experience
When I visited Inuyama Castle,
I felt there were limited ways to bring that experience home with me.
I could take photos.
I could buy souvenirs.
But,
the feelings and knowledge I gained that day seemed to fade away little by little.
So, I wondered:
Could I somehow "take home"
Inuyama Castle itself?
Reimagining Inuyama Castle with words
This work was created with the premise of expressing Inuyama Castle through typography.
From a distance, it looks like a castle.
Up close, it is made up of words.
Just as one "reads" history,
the castle itself has been reinterpreted as an "experience of reading."
That experience will never end.
This T-shirt allows you to
"take Inuyama Castle home with you."
Wearing it will bring back memories of the day and what you felt,
at unexpected moments.
From a distance, it's a castle.
Up close, it reveals the words embedded within.
It will create a conversation starter that makes you
want to tell someone about it.
It's not just clothes; it's wearing a continuation of an experience.
