On July 13, 2025, the "SAMURAI Typography: See or Read?" exhibition successfully concluded.
During the exhibition period, many people visited "Shop Nuku Mori" in Yachimata, the venue for the event. The cafe was always full on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and some even came all the way from Saitama, making it a truly heartwarming experience.

This exhibition marked the temporary closure of the cafe operations at "Shop Nuku Mori," so it was particularly special to have so many visitors.

Customers who visited the cafe unaware of the exhibition unexpectedly encountered my works, and some purchased original drawings of their favorite warlords, while local classmates and high school friends surprised me with their visits.

And then, my elementary school teacher, whom I hadn't seen in over two decades, came to visit. Her approach of "praising and nurturing" a quiet, unremarkable student like me is at the root of my current artistic endeavors. Her words, "I hope you do this again in Yachimata," were a huge encouragement and strongly set my next goal.

This exhibition was approached with a strong sense of mission to showcase the works I've been creating for five years in my hometown of Yachimata, under the concept of "translating the aesthetics, individuality, and spirit of warlords nurtured by history through a modern typographic perspective, and resonating with viewers worldwide."

I gained countless insights and met many wonderful people.
I hope that the works purchased at this exhibition will continue to increase in value and bring joy to everyone. And I will continue to take on new challenges to further spread "Samurai Typography" around the world.

The desire to "do it again in Yachimata," expressed at this exhibition, is my next goal. I dream of a future where I can eventually hold a "triumphant event" in Yachimata again, adding talk shows and plans that more people can enjoy, and then present my works in galleries around the world before returning to my hometown.

To everyone who came, saw, purchased, and to my friends and teachers who traveled from afar, I extend my heartfelt gratitude. With this immense "power" in my heart, I will continue to dedicate myself fully to my mission of "conveying."
