Since its establishment, Yoshikuni has had the philosophy of selling not only in Japan but also overseas, and widely conveying the coolness of samurai.
We wanted to ask foreigners to be models so that they would be accepted by people overseas.
That's where Mr. Bellissimo, the most famous Italian in Japan, came into the picture.
He had a long-standing friendship with designer Inoue.
Mr. Bellissimo is active as a chef and Italian TV personality, and in New Year 2022, he also appeared in a TV drama as an actor (Fuji TV New Year Drama Special "The Adventures of Submarine Cappellini"). He is affectionately known as "Italian Stallion" for his cheerful personality and skillful escorting of women.
He is also well-versed in Japanese culture, not only speaking Japanese but also holding a karate dan and being skilled enough to become an instructor. He also visits famous restaurants throughout Japan to research cuisine.
Mr. Bellissimo's favorite place is Okinawa, and he has recently been active in video distribution to convey the beauty of Okinawan culture and cuisine to attract foreign tourists.
Yoshikuni empathized with Mr. Bellissimo's activities and provided costumes for a video shoot project in Okinawa.
When I consulted with Mr. Bellissimo, he readily accepted.
Being enthusiastic, he offered suggestions on shooting situations that matched the atmosphere of the clothes, sales development, and SNS operation.
As expected from someone who handles his own branding and is active in various fields, his advice was very helpful.
Samurai Typography映える in the Blue Sky
When the Okinawa shoot began, Mr. Bellissimo appeared in a black T-shirt with a blue samurai print.
At the wonderful resort hotel Novotel Okinawa Naha, Mr. Bellissimo presented his partner, Andrea, with a white T-shirt featuring samurai typography. Andrea, also from Italy and with ties to Okinawa, looked great in the white T-shirt.
The two wore the T-shirts constantly, whether traveling by car or in the hotel restaurant.
Although the colors were black and white, the graphic was the same, so it made them look like a truly compatible duo, or was it just me?
Incidentally, this shoot was featured in the local newspaper, Ryukyu Shimpo, with the two wearing the T-shirts clearly pictured.

On another day, amidst a busy schedule, he also agreed to model for Yoshikuni's clothes.
Like Okinawa, the shoot was blessed with a clear blue sky.
On this day, we went around Odaiba, shooting in a style that involved composing and posing according to the location.
Mr. Bellissimo is quick-witted, so he gave ideas on the spot, posed flexibly, and changed clothes briskly to proceed with the shoot.
To avoid monotony, he struck cool poses, relaxed poses, and occasionally humorous poses, leading the on-site staff in a friendly manner.
Despite a tight schedule with many clothes to wear for the shooting time, it was a satisfying shoot in terms of both quality and quantity.
These images have also been uploaded to Yoshikuni's Instagram, so please check them out.
We will continue to actively disseminate information overseas, so please support us.
