The small factory we do business with in Wakayama was founded over 100 years ago. Last November, when we actually visited this factory, we were breathless as we saw dozens of loopwheel knitting machines, manufactured decades ago, lined up neatly, their countless needles slowly weaving fabric.
Inside the retro-looking factory, the artisans paid close attention to the movements of the machines. The loopwheel knitting machines rattled as they moved. We could imagine that fabric was woven with such care and effort about 100 years ago as well, and it felt as if we had traveled back in time.
We truly want everyone to experience our fabric.
